Where do we meet?
If you booked an Ultimate Augmented Reality Challenge, Haunted History Tour, Amazing Capitol Quest, or a Spy Adventure, please meet at 1403 Lavaca St.
If you booked a 6th Street Bar Hop, Rainey Street Bar Hop, Rainey Street Walk, or Texas Sized Drinks and Creatures, please meet at 333 E 2nd Street at Micheladas Café Y Cantina.
If you booked a Spy Adventure at the Domain or an Ultimate Augmented Reality Challenge at the Domain, please meet at the Shake Shack at the Domain.
If you booked a Domain Rock Rose Bar Hop, meet at Lavaca Street Bar at the Domain.
How long does it last?
For our scavenger hunts, our games have a time limit of about 2 hours. Often, people finish in approximately an hour and a half. It depends on how quickly you walk and how quickly you solve the riddles.
For our murder mystery mini-games, you have a limit of 30 minutes.
When should we arrive?
Our facilitators should be present at your starting location up to 30 minutes before the time you booked. We recommend arriving at the time you booked, or a few minutes earlier if you’d like to use the restroom or order food or drink. If you are late, your facilitators should wait for you, but be respectful of our facilitators time. If you book with a large group of multiple teams, the other teams and groups can decide to leave without you if you are late.
When we arrive, and who do we meet?
Our facilitators should be waiting for you at your starting location up to 30 minutes before your start time. They should be wearing a black t-shirt with our orange logo. They may call or text you to confirm your event beforehand. If you have trouble finding them, you can call them at this number, or at our company contact number.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope! We provide all the equipment you need to play our games.
What should I wear?
We recommend flat, comfortable shoes, since there is some walking involved. Be aware of the weather when you’re choosing attire.
How much walking is there?
Our games tend to be 1-2 miles of walking in total.
Can I quit the game?
Often, especially on bar hop games, people will find a bar or restaurant they really like and want to stay there for the duration of the game. We have no problem with that! Let the facilitator know that you’re done with the game, and we can collect the equipment from you and leave you to enjoy your night.
Should I make a reservation?
Yes, we highly recommend reserving your event beforehand, or we won’t know to prepare for your group. We do occasionally except walk-ins if our facilitators are not occupied, but only at our headquarters location at 1403 Lavaca Street. The only way to officially reserve a spot is to book your event beforehand.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
We accept cancellations and changes in the number attendees up to 24 hours before your event. After this time, we do not accept late cancels and refunds. If your have a change in your group amount, you can let us know up to 24 hours before, but we must have a final count at this time in order to plan for equipment and staffing.
For example, if you book an event for ten people, we staff and provide equipment for ten people at your selected location. If only five people show up, that does not change the staff and equipment that we’ve prepared, so we would not refund your booking.
What if it rains?
Many of our games are largely indoors, at different bars or historical locations, so if there’s a little bit of rain, your game should still run smoothly. If there is inclement weather that prevent that safe and smooth operation of the game, we’d gladly reschedule your game for no extra charge.
Is there an age requirement?
For most of our games, we recommend 10 years and up, but younger children are still permitted as long as an adult is present. For our bar hops, you must be 21 or older.
How many people can be on one AR Adventure?
We require a minimum of two people on our games. We do not have a strict maximum on group size, so feel free to send us inquiries for school field trips or large company outings.
